David Scheer is a Registered Architect and energy modeling expert. Currently David is serving as a domain expert and Product Manager with the building performance analysis team working on special projects such as Lighting Analysis, Solar Analysis and Rendering Illuminance, and the cloud engines that provide analysis capabilities to a number of Autodesk tools including Revit. In addition to architectural design and energy consulting, David has worked in land planning and GIS research, and as a contractor and a float plane pilot in California and Alaska. David also teaches a course on zero energy building design at UC Berkeley in San Francisco.
