I thought you may find this post interesting. It is about how Autodesk "does sustainability". It is a part of our culture, as you will see. For example, the building I work out of located in Waltham MA (USA) is a LEED Platinum Interior and LEED Gold Exterior. We did not lease the building until after the exterior was built so it was too late to get it up to Platinum.
By the way, just for the record, I truly dislike the "dog food" analogy. (You will need to read the blog post referenced above to understand what I am talking about.) It is often in reference to using the APIs that one develops for their own internal needs. The idea of comparing beautiful APIs to dog food is just wrong ;)
