You may not know that when you don't have Autodesk Vault desktop client installed on your machine, the Autodesk Vault web client is the quick way to see your Vault contents.
However, when you navigate to your Vault using the web client for the first time and see nothing showing up, you may need to adjust your default settings.
By default, the web client shows only the Released items and files, so if there aren't any such items in the Vault, no contents are shown.
To adjust your default settings, first navigate to your Vault server using your browser and the web client URL e.g.
http://yourvaultsvr/AutodeskDM/webclient
Now navigate to the Settings page by clicking "Configure" on the right side of the page and adjust the settings to suit you.
At the bottom of the page, uncheck the following item
Now you can test out your new web based Vault access!
