I see often that AutoCAD Electrical user want to share their drawings with the other part of the industry, there are many ways to share files and I just want to highlight one of them.
“PDF Portable Document Format”.
Why? Where viewing the original document source is essential, the PDF is the ultimate solution. It has the ability to exist independently from the hardware, software and operating system used to create or view the PDF document. What does this mean? It not only makes it easy to transmit files between computers with different applications, it also means that you can get your documents across clearly and avoid any communication problems wherever possible. Preserving the look and feel of the original source file becomes a priority you don’t have to worry about.
So feel free to watch my video of how to create your own AutoCAD Electrical Project as one single PDF document.

One problem with this is when the drawings are not initialised. When this happens it is a pain and the only way around it is to go through every effected drawing and correct it which can take a long time when all you want to do is print a set of drawings. It would be far better if this utility either ignored uninitialised page layouts or corrected them....

Could you make uninitialized as Reference in the drawing properties? When selecting the drawings to plot these will have an 'r' behind their name. This is still manual but at least gives a visual indication of what drawing to exclude. Just a thought.
