VK Architects & Engineers, based in Belgium and Vietnam, is a design and engineering firm with more than 60 years of experience and expertise. As a multi-professional and interdisciplinary company, they offer a wide range of disciplines within the design and implementation process. In this, they direct our efforts to serving future clients from the public and private sectors, with a focus on a number of specific target markets.
Since a long time already, they embrace Autodesk Revit as their central design and engineering platform. Recently they also decided to bring their BIM models to a higher level by adding the rebar detailing in the structural engineering discipline.
The project below showcases a typical project, the structural designers at VK work at on daily basis. It uses the out-of-the-box tools from Revit for the rebar modelling, added with Sofistik Reinforcement Detailing for the bending schedules and rebar shape details. The results are amazing.
